Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES ROBERTSON SHEARER Peacefully, after a brief illness and with family present; it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Charles Shearer on Thursday, September 29, 2005, at the Charleswood Care Centre at the age of 81 years. Remaining to cherish Charlie's memory are his son Brian; daughter Leanne Muir (Robert); brother Jack Shearer; cousins, nieces, nephews, numerous friends as well as many grand animals. He was predeceased by his wife Delores and his sister Norma. Charlie lived all of his life in Winnipeg; with the past year at Charleswood Care Centre and at Eastern Star Chalet for the four years previous. He went to General Wolfe and Daniel Mac and after finishing school joined the Masons with all of his cousins and remained at Mason for over 50 years. Charlie was also in the air force. He worked for the Post Office downtown for 20 years before retiring in 1986. Charlie was a member of the Wildwood Club and the Charleswood Golf Club. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and curling among his hobbies. We love you and we will miss you. On Tuesday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m., Charlie's funeral service will be held in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave (corner of Mount Royal Road and Ness Ave). For those who wish, parking is available in the Seventh Day Adventist Parking lot on Ness Avenue. We would especially like to thank the staff at Charleswood Care Centre for their care and thoughtfulness of Charlie. Nature's first green is gold Her hardest hue to hold Her early leaf's a flower But only so an hour Then leaf subsides to leaf So Eden sank to grief So dawn goes down to day Nothing gold can stay WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
